Finding employment in today's competitive world can be tough - that's why we created our Skills for work boot camp. This one-day crash course is full of practical advice, tips and encouragement to help you build your confidence and become more employable.

This one day session aims to help you become more confident when it comes to applying for jobs, attending interviews and showing why you're worth employing.

From CV writing to giving better presentations, you'll leave with loads of practical skills that will help you when your looking for work.

One day to see yourself differently

Our Skills for work boot camp could really make the difference in your search for a job. It will help you understand exactly what you're capable of and how you can apply this knowledge when looking for work. If you're aged between 14 and 18, you can apply to take part in this national programme which is held at sites across the UK.

Nobody leaves our sessions without having the chance to put all they've learned into practice.

The boot camp gives everybody the chance to work on a presentation around a set theme, be it a product of the future or the impact of technology on the working world.

What else do you need to know?

You can’t apply directly for our Skills for work boot camp. We take referrals from schools and colleges through to youth organisations and charities.

You'll also learn more about BT and take away a student handbook filled with helpful advice and details of the progress you made on the Skills for work boot camp.
